Mighty Cahokia: America's First City

Mighty Cahokia: America’s First City7-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 14, at the Forest Preserve District of Will County’s Isle a la Cache Museum, 501 E. 135th St., Romeoville. Archeologist and author Bill Iseminger joins us from Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site. This program will uncover the cultural traditions as well as the rise and demise of Cahokia, the largest prehistoric settlement north of Mexico. We’ll discuss the many significant site features and the results of archaeological research at this World Heritage site. This program is offered indoors in an accessible facility.
