    The Peabody Museum seeks a NAGPRA Associate Director to oversee the efforts associated with ensuring the Museum’s fulfilment of the legal and ethical implementation of the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) under the general direction of the NAGPRA Director.     Research Program Managers (RPM) assist the Director with administration of the Center by providing oversight on long-term, multidimensional projects between the Center and sponsors. They plan and direct the day-to-day operations of Center research units according to research directives established by the Director. They develop project budget and scope of services for research projects. They provide financial oversight of these projects in coordination with the Financial Specialist, via management of Wisper records and WISDM accounts. They are direct liaisons between the Center and the Office of Sponsored Projects. The RPM plans, develops, and implements processes and protocols to support the research goals established for the Center.     The Department of Anthropology in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY seeks a senior bioarcheologist (osteological specialist) to inventory all human skeletal remains that fall under the purview of the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). This position will be responsible for performing documentation/analysis on NAGPRA osteology collections as needed, including inventorying, building a biological profile, estimating MNI, and assisting with reburial preparation if needed. Processing and cataloguing of all Native American human remains will be in accordance with policies and procedures established during the consultation processes and respect for and sensitivity to this type of work are imperative.
