Updated deadline July 22-Archaeologist Coordinator position- Kentucky Transportation Cabinet

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is hiring an Archaeologist Coordinator in the Cultural Resources Branch of the Division of Environmental Analysis. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits, and will be located in KYTC's Central Office in Frankfort, Kentucky. Please note that the minimum qualifications for this position include a master's degree in anthropology, archaeology or cultural resource management (applied anthropology) or a related field, supplemented by one year of archaeology or anthropology experience concentrated in the United States. Applicants should be familiar with Section 106 and NEPA as well as pertinent state and federal laws regarding archaeology. A working knowledge of the archaeology of or experience working in the Ohio River Valley is preferred. Pay is commensurate with experience, within the range noted in the link below.
