The Assistant Archaeologist to the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer (THPO) is responsible for aiding the THPO in managing, protecting, and preserving the Osage Nation's cultural resources and related interests which is a critical function for reestablishing and retaining Osage sovereignty within our ancestral territory, which includes 618 counties in 15 states.
