The Illinois State Archaeological Survey (ISAS), Prairie Research Institute (PRI) at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, is seeking a Research Archaeologist for its American Bottom Field Station (ABFS) in Collinsville, Illinois. The successful candidate will perform GIS-based spatial analysis, manipulate data to create maps and other project deliverables, conduct archaeological fieldwork, and write project reports and documents. Work in coordination with the Field Station Coordinator, other staff at the ABFS, and the Central Office GIS personnel to oversee all aspects of GIS and Spatial data use, management and storage.
