ISAS Architectural Historian Position - Deadline September 14, 2020 with possible extension

The Illinois State Archaeological Survey (ISAS)Prairie Research Institute (PRI), at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is seeking an Architectural Historian to conduct historical research on architectural resources (standing buildings and architectural remains encountered during archaeological investigations) for ISAS and the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). The successful candidate will be required to identify and evaluate those eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in accordance with the rules and regulations of the National Historic Preservation Act (16 U.S.C. 470) and its implementing regulations (36 CFR 61, Appendix A), and the Illinois State Agency Historic Resources Preservation Act (20 ILCS 3420).
