    As announced in February (through an email by April Sievert), the newly formed IU Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology is offering a summer fellowship for Native American students.

    The extraordinary reaction to the global COVID-19 pandemic has and will continue to cause disruption to daily life. To allow as many as possible the opportunity to apply, the IUMAA is extending the application deadline to April 3.     Native American Fellowships at Indiana University- Recently the Mathers Museum of World Cultures, and the Glenn A. Black Museum of Archaeology at Indiana University merged into a new organization, the IU Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. The Museum is offering two summer fellowships for Native American students each year to assist with moving collections, planning for long term curation, and creating new exhibitions focusing on Indigenous cultural materials of North America.
